     Elizabeth Kicklighter, Haley Johnson and Victoria Farrar
     

    South Effingham Middle School held their annual pageant on April 6, 2013. Elizabeth Kicklighter was crowned the winner. Haley Johnson was 1st runner up and Victoria Farrar was 2nd runner up. Other winners included, Summer Roslin-Spirit of SEMS, Bailey Yarbrough-Academic Award, Elizabeth Kicklighter-Miss Photogenic, Maggie Poff-Miss 6th Grade, Kimberly Schwartz-Miss 7th grade, Miss 8th Grade-Madelin Luther.

  • STANG SUPPLY STATION
     
    The Stang Supply Station is a student operated school supply store for South Effingham Middle School students. The Stang Supply Station is open during homeroom every day and located on a cart just outside the Media Center. Basic schools supplies such as pencils, pens, notebook paper, composition books, and a few other items are available at reasonable prices.

  • Fueling the Community Parkers' donates 1 cent from every gallon of gas sold at Parker's lo#ations throughout the county on the first Wednesday of every month# Just pick up a PumpPal Card at any Parker's lo#ation# Then go online to www.ParkerSav.com to sign up as a member. Don't forget to register our school for the 1 cent per gallon!

  • ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES
    Students must arrive at school and be in the building by 8:20 each day.  If a student arrives after 8:20 they must have a parent/guardian sign them into school.  Students will be dismissed from school at 3:50.  Students who miss more than half of the school day will be marked absent.  Students who sign out of school prior to 12:00 will be marked absent.   Students who sign out  or sign in to school for doctors/dentist appointments will be marked with an unexcused tardy/leave.  Parents should send in a note from the doctor/dentist the following day so the leave can be changed to an excused tardy/leave.  Please refer to page 16 of the Student Parent Handbook for the complete attendance guidelines.
