This photograph is of Dallas Dasher, former elementary student of Sand Hill
Elementary, now a student at South Effingham High School. Dallas is in Troop
295, Flying Eagle Patrol, under Mark Bennett, Patrol Leader, and Frank Patterson, Scoutmaster. For his Eagle Scout Project, to earn the highest award and rank in
Boy Scouts, Dallas conducted fundraisers and planned a Beautification project
around our flagpole at Sand Hill Elementary. He both paved the area with cement
and stepping stones to make a walkway, landscaped, and created a fenced border
for visitor parking. He has been working on this plan since the summer, but spent
a large portion of Thanksgiving week break actually on site installing the project.
Thank you, Dallas, on a job well done!
